Jan. 17 & 18, 2004 - Fruit & Spice Park

There was a big LAFA turnout for this year's Redlands natural Arts Festival at the Fruit & Spice Park in Homestead.  LAFA members Ron Andersen (Quicksilver), John Bubel (Fisher Horizon II), Barry Hawkes (Kolb Firestar), Ricardo Martinez (Trike), and Donald Dagenhart (Powered Parachute) brought a total of five planes that remained on static display during both days of the show, plus one model airplane courtesy of Alex Kinghorn.

At any given point in time there were 25 or more LAFA members in or near the LAFA displays.  The yellow shirts seemed to be everywhere!.

Other LAFA planes flew overhead at regular intervals to add a third dimension to our ground demonstrations.

Judging by the number of people who were attracted to our toys, it was clear that our presence was very appreciated.

While LAFA members fielded hundreds of questions ranging from licensing requirements to safety; costs and the upcoming Sport Pilot, young children had their pictures taken by their parents in or around our planes.
