This year's LAFA Christmas Party was held
at the Homestead Air Reserve Base All Ranks Club.
The enjoyable evening
was and atmosphere of jokes and laughter was put into afterburner mode by
the open bar and great food.
Following the meal,
President Ron Andersen and Fly out Chairman John Bubel handed out awards to members in
recognition of their achievements and contributions to the club throughout the
year.
No... the members
weren't giving John the finger. (At least, some of
them weren't). In the LAFA tradition of doing things
differently, awards were placed on the recipient's middle finger.
In case you were
wondering, the ghost in the previous picture is of Mike Chin receiving his
award "in absentia" from Ron Andersen.
