Nov. 23rd & 24th - Overnight fly-out to Everglades City

The trip started with the flight briefing at 0700 hrs at the Homestead General Manager’s office.

The ground crew left Homestead around 0730 followed by a 0745 takeoff from Homestead with Dick Bronnenberg, Danny Galletti, Barry Hawkes, Bob Musgrove and Ron Russell.

The trip to TNT was smooth but had an 18 kt. Headwind.

Rich Bragassa joined the group at TNT.

The wind picked up around 0930 which made the leg from TNT to Everglades City a bit rough.

Terry Chandler and Ron Ohm arrived at Everglades City as the group was leaving for lunch.

After checking in to the hotel, we returned to the airport for a little afternoon flying around the Ten Thousand islands.

After dinner we returned to the hotel to get some sleep for an early departure.

The flight left Everglades City at sunup, stopped at TNT for fuel and continued to Homestead.

After landing at Homestead, we discussed the weekend trip for over an hour.
