Our club was taken on a guided
tour of the Air Force base including a visit to the tower and ended with
Lunch at the All Ranks Club at the base.
Our group has obtained
permission to make slow speed fly-by's over the base's seemingly
never-ending runway on several occasions in the past. This tour gave us
the opportunity to see the base from ground level, and meet some of the good
folks that we've previously spoken to on the radio.
Due to heightened post- 9/11
security, photo taking on the base was were very limited.
