questions. If you are new to ultralights or light sport aircraft and
wish to fly with us, by now you might have even more questions than you

If you want to learn a bit more about LAFA, consider
joining!. You don't need a plane to be a member (In fact, the majority
of our members don't own planes!). For the minimal sum of $35.00,
you will be placed on our e-mailing list to receive our monthly newsletter.
You will also be able to take part in
all "ground level" events. Later on when you are ready to become a full
flying member, you can join the EAA. (EAA membership is
required for all LAFA members who fly in order to be covered by EAA's event
insurance policy). To join LAFA, simply complete and submit a
Membership Application Form, and mail in your check for $35.00.
